2010 Season E-mail

We did a third Broadway Sing-Along, Broadway Musicals Through The Years 1928 - 1939, starring Chris Coogan at the piano, with narration by Ellen Creane. Sunday, June 6, 2010, 2 to 4 pm at The First Congregational Church, Old Greenwich, CT.


We did a second Broadway Sing-Along, Broadway Musicals Through The Years 1924 - 1928, starring Chris Coogan at the piano, with narration by Ellen Creane. Sunday, February 7, 2010 at The First Congregational Church, Old Greenwich, CT.


We also did a wonderful Gershwin Musical Review on March 5, 6, 12, 13 & 14, 2010 at First Congregational Church in Old Greenwich, CT. Directed by Michele Grace with Chris Coogan as Musical Director.

 
2009 Season E-mail

We produced a Broadway Sing-Along, Broadway Musicals Through The Years 1891 - 1921, starring Chris Coogan at the piano, with narration by Ellen Creane. October 11, 2009, 2 to 4 pm at The First Congregational Church, Old Greenwich, CT.

 
2008 Season E-mail

We produced the Irving Berlin musical review “Let Me Sing and I’m Happy”, directed by Michelle Grace, music directed by Chris Coogan, and produced by Peggi de la Cruz.
Production dates were Nov. 8-9 and 15-16, 2008 at 8:00 p.m. at The First Congregational Church, 108 Sound Beach Ave., Old Greenwich, CT.

We also mounted a 60th Anniversary Concert titled “A Celebration in Song!, 60 Years of Connecticut Playmakers” for one night only on Saturday July 26, 2008 at the Cole Auditorium at Greenwich Library.



Connecticut Playmakers has spent the last 60+ years bringing the “Best of Broadway” to the greater Greenwich community and southwest Connecticut.  This theatrical organization has produced more than 225 productions during its vibrant history; from venerable classics: “Oklahoma,” “Brigadoon” and “Guys & Dolls;” to contemporary favorites: “Sweeney Todd,” “Evita” and “Jesus Christ Superstar;” to well-known plays: “Deathtrap” and “Mousetrap.”
